Like every suspension product developed by KW automotive, the suspension manufacturer, and manufactured in Germany, the KW V3 Coilover suspension kit also provides a significant plus in safety reserves in road traffic. Thanks to the chassis with its high-quality dampers, springs, and elastomer spring elements, pitching and rolling movements during load changes such as evasive maneuvers, cornering, acceleration, and braking are significantly reduced. The braking distances are also shortened. Thanks to improved support and feedback, drivers not only feel safer but driving in everyday life becomes even safer. With compression and rebound stage damping, that can be set separately and independently of each other, the damper setup can be customized to your personal driving preferences or vehicle changes such as weight, tire characteristics, or altered vehicle rigidity. In addition to the individually adjustable ride height the KW V4 coilover kit allows an independent Adjustment -f the rebound damping as well as the low-speed and high-speed compression damping. Each KW V4 coilover kit is delivered with a vehicle-specific comfort setting and with the integrated Adjustment -controls the damping characteristics can be set quickly and intuitively transformed to an optimized performance setup. The 3-way adjustable high-performance dampers in the KW V4 coilover kits feature independent Adjustment – of the rebound damping utilizing patented TVR-A technology, as well as the low speed and high speed compression damping utilizing TVCLH-A technology. KW V2 INOX-LINE coilovers are the perfect solution for drivers who want more than just outstanding looks and adjustable ride height. In addition to stainless steel coilover struts, and corrosion-resistant components built for long term durability, KW V2 coilovers utilize TVR-A (Twin Valve Rebound – Adjustable) technology that allow Adjustment of the rebound damping characteristics with 16 clicks so you can fine tune the ride comfort or performance to your satisfaction. As with all KW coilovers our engineers develop vehicle specific damper settings that undergo comprehensive testing on the Nurburgring Nordschleife and in our KW 7-post Driving Dynamic Test Center. With a KW coilover kit the driving experience is more dynamic and direct. With the rebound adjustability you have a more direct influence on the handling or comfort of the car. With 16 precise clicks you can adjust the KW dampers (more firm or more comfortable) without affecting the compression damping fine-tuned by our engineers. The two-stage, patented TVR-A (Twin Valve Rebound – Adjustable) technology enables a small volume of oil flow through an adjustable, conically shaped, low-speed bypass during low damper speeds, while at high damper speeds, the main rebound stage valve opens allowing a larger volume of oil to flow. This provides a big improvement in terms of ride comfort without influencing the high-speed range. There are 16 precise clicks available for individual settings, so you can choose between more comfort or more body control. With KW V2 coilovers you can achieve maximum lowering within an approved lowering range that ensures a proper functioning suspension and adequate travel after your car is lowered. Even after years of use you can easily adjust the ride height thanks to the dirt resistant trapezoid thread and composite adjustment collar.
