The Dodge Cummins inline-6 is well known for its smooth power delivery and engine longevity. Mishimoto has released an intercooler for the 2010-2012 6.7L Cummins that is built to last, just like your truck. The Mishimoto intercooler is manufactured with robust cast aluminum end tanks and a dense bar-and-plate core. This intercooler provides decreased intake temperatures, improved airflow, and reduced pressure loss. Our engineers developed an intercooler with increased core volume that can support substantial boost pressures and lower EGTs in your stock or modified truck. The Mishimoto intercooler features larger than factory intercooler outlets for increased flow. Included with this intercooler are two silicone boots with DuraCore technology and our signature constant tension T-bolt clamps for consistent and reliable holding power. Mishimoto DuraCore technology is the synthetic material that comprises the innermost layer of all Mishimoto silicone diesel boots. Compared to normal silicone, DuraCore provides superior resistance to heat, pressure, fuel and oil. This effectively increases the life of our boots by preventing leaks and blow-outs. Looking for a way to reduce high intake temperatures on your stock or modified WRX? The solution is the Mishimoto direct-fit top-mount intercooler engineered specifically for the 2008–2014 Subaru WRX. The stock top-mount intercooler is prone to head soak and even failure of the stock plastic endtanks above 18psi. Mishimoto engineers spent months designing and testing this new intercooler to ensure optimum performance on both the street and track. This intercooler utilizes durable cast aluminum end tanks TIG-welded to a highly efficient, dense bar-and-plate core. The Mishimoto intercooler has a 3.75 thick core and a total volume of 584 in3. Thanks to this volume and a very dense offset fin pitch, we are able to optimize heat transfer and support vehicles from stock up to 400 whp. This intercooler endured rigorous testing, showing a 12 F temperature drop as well as a +6 whp and +8 wtq bolt-on power increase for our stock test vehicle. Installation is simple, requires no modification to any parts in the engine bay, and can be completed in under 30 minutes. Included with this intercooler are a new turbo-intercooler O-ring gasket, and Mishimoto’s silicone throttle-body coupler. These components negate the need to gather supplies for installation, and they ensure years of reliable service.
