The VCU275 can manage up to two inverter/motor systems, communicate with three independent CAN bus networks, and it can be used on direct-drive and indirect-drive EV setups. The BMS is implemented as two different Module types: the BMS Master and the BMS Satellite. Master also contains the CAN communication interface and J1772 charging specific connections needed for each battery pack.
